Christian Vincent

Christian Vincent is a multi-faceted artist whose talents a choreographer, actor, creative director, dance coach, dancer and educator have garnered distinction in every area of the dance and entertainment industry. He was most recently honored with an Emmy nomination for his choreography in the groundbreaking series The Porter.

Christian began his career dancing and working for icons like Madonna (dance captain, coach, Drowned World tour), Prince, Britney Spears, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Stevie Wonder, Chayanne, Mandy Moore, Geri Halliwell, Macy Gray, Brian Setzer Orchestra, and Ashanti.

Christian is well-know for his artistic direction and choreographic expertise. Most recently he choreographed and was nominated for an Emmy for BET+ and CBC’s series The Porter. Christian was nominated for A World Choreography award in 2021 for his work on Netflix’s series Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C. J. Walker, starring Oscar winner Octavia Spencer. Christian choreographed the Lifetime biopic about rap super group Salt-N-Pepa, and Lifetime’s The Christmas Dance Reunion.

Christian’s other works include Noah’s Arc: Jumping The Broom, 500 Days of Summer (assistant choreographer), USC Village Opening (creative director) and the Global television series Canada Sings(choreographer/creative team). He has worked with directors David Fincher and Marc Webb.

Christian has become known for his ability to coach performers to their optimal potential. Christian has coached Madonna for the Drowned World Tour, actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer), Jonah Ray (Hidden America), Golden Globe-winning actress Sally Hawkins for Guillermo del Toro’s Oscar-winning film The Shape of Water, Laila Odom and Gigi Townson to play Salt-N-pepa, as well as Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman.

As an actor, Christian starred in the Hallmark Christmas film A Majestic Christmas and guest starred in the City TV series The Wedding Planners. He also appeared in Lifetime’s Christmas film The Christmas Dance Reunion. Christian was a series regular on the groundbreaking series Noah’s Arc, the follow-up film Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom and Noah’s Arc: The Rona Chronicles. Christian appeared in the off-Broadway production of Radiant Baby, directed by George C. Wolfe. He has made appearances on Smallville, Center Stage 2, Fringe, Fallen, Sins of the Mother, Continuum and Hidden America with Jonah Ray. Christian will soon be a recurring character on the Amazon Prime series The Power.

Christian is a master educator who enjoys sharing and inspiring the next generation of performers . He is currently a faculty member with LA Dance Magic Dance Convention ,and he was also a professor at the highly esteemed USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance.

Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Christian holds a B.F.A from Butler University, from which he graduated cum laude. In 2015 Christian graduated with an MFA in dance from the University of California, Irvine.
